La Strega, Las Vegas’ new bewitching Italian ristorante and locals’ hotspot featuring Executive Chef Gina Marinelli’s farm-to-table Italian cuisine, tapped Team Neon to assist in expanding its initial influence and restaurant re-debut in in the heart of Summerlin and become of the city’s premier dining destinations.

TACTICS:

• Created PR campaign around former LV Strip chef Gina Marinelli opening her own restaurant off-Strip, resulting in female-empowerment features.
• Pitched key local and business outlets highlighting the history behind the brand, and approachable food & beverage menu that makes it appealing across multiple demographics.
• Partnered with the James Beard Foundation to host a dinner at the James Beard House in New York City to maximize the brand’s national exposure.
• Organized media dinners with key media and foodies to secure national print features.

RESULTS:

• Received cover of Las Vegas Weekly, exclusive placements in LA Times, Thrillist, Vegas Magazine and MSN Online, resulting in 3,025,083 impressions.
• Highlighting unique “female chef” component garnered massive media exposure and as a result, increase in ROI for the restaurant.
• Gained brand awareness in national outlets including The Infatuation, Food & Wine, New York Magaizne.
• Neon PR coordinated multiple dining experiences for key influencers including
